Many people may not know that sleep consulting services are often an eligible expense with a flexible spending account (FSA). At Tiny Transitions, we want to keep our clients informed and encourage them to use these benefits!

As long as your child is added to the account as a dependent, it is likely that the expenses of sleep consulting can either be covered under medical care for a newborn or under health institute fees.

Before you purchase our services, call your HSA administrator to see if pre-approval or any special paperwork is necessary. If you are required to have a letter of medical necessity from your pediatrician, give them a call and ask how you can get this. They will be happy to help.  In addition, you can submit your itemized invoice to insurance as well!

Flexible Spending Accounts may require you to prepay for the sleep consulting and reimburse you with proof of purchase — just ask us for a receipt if this is the case!

I understand eligibility can be confusing, as sleep consulting is a relatively new type of health service, but we are here to help you and your kids. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
